FAQ for VayK Gear

Your reservation might already include Beach Gear: If you are the guest of one the following rental companies you may have already received a special offer or credit for beach gear.

VayK Gear Beach Gear Rental

All orders placed by 5pm will be delivered the next day. If you’re order is placed after 5pm it will be delivered the following day.

If you are renting with one of our property management partners (see full list here), you may receive BEACH GEAR CREDIT through their Beach Gear Included program. 

VayK Gear provides daily, weekly and monthly gear rental options AND gear can be used and delivered on different days. For example, your party may wish to rent bikes for the length of your stay and would like to use a paddle board for just one day. That works for us. We’ll deliver the gear when you need it and pick it up when you’re finished. Delivery is free!

We do not rent kid trailers and baby carriers at this time. If you need bike add-ons we will be happy to provide a local service provider for you. VayK Gear Support – support@vaykgear.com, 888-577-7412 (9am to 5pm EST, 7 days a week).

All Paddle Boards and Kayaks include paddles. Tandem Kayaks include two paddles. Life vests can be rented separately.

All About Ordering, Delivery & Pickup

Simply select the beach area where you are renting your property and place your order.   

If you run into trouble ordering, simply reach out to VayK Gear Support – support@vaykgear.com, 888-577-7412 (9am to 5pm EST, 7 days a week).

Beach Gear will arrive by 5pm on your delivery day (we do not charge you for this day). You do not need to be present for delivery.

Beach gear should be cleaned and left in the place it was delivered by the night before your pickup day. We will not charge you for your pickup day.

Please be sure to consider the delivery and pickup days when you order in terms of your intent for using the gear.

We do not support same day delivery. Orders made after 5pm may not be delivered the next day. Please consider this when selecting your gear rental dates.

Delivery and Pick up days must be on days where you are occupying the property. Because properties are flipped on a same day basis, we do not schedule deliveries the day before arrival or pickups the day after your departure.

We will send emails and text messages with arrival and departure instructions.

Why would you want to do that? We deliver everything!

Once an order is completed it cannot be modified, only cancelled. If you want to make a change you can simply order more gear or cancel the order (we’ll refund your credit card) and place a new order.

Yes! You can get damage protection for your gear for just 7.8% of your gear order. Just check the “Gear Damage Protection” box during checkout and you can vacation worry-free!

No, but we keep a credit card on file for any damaged or lost gear. You can get the damage protection for just 7.8% to cover any damage to your gear.

Just leave the gear clean and where you found it the night before the designated pick up day. We’ll pick it up!
